Gavin Myers is a local artist choreographer, dancer and teacher graduated from Wichita State University who left Wichita to live in New York where he worked for some companies and did some performance that help him to improved his art. During covid time he decided to come back to Wichita where he started to be involved with Harvester Arts and developed this series of artist performances that he called Hungry!? Have an snack where artist get to developed an artistic idea in to a show and then get a feed back from the audience.
He brought up this idea from New York, when He was there he went to a show like this one on a basement of a church, he realized that this kind of show help him as an artist to see how audience perceived his art and then he could work in improving his art.
In Harvester Art we are thought that everyone can be an artist, base on that concept idea Gavin invites everyone in the community that would like to do a performance or have an idea for a show can come to him and make it happens it can be comediy,poetry, dance, acting. This shows comes up every month, everytime is different and exciting.
