Trip to Daytona

These vacations, like others, were planned by my husband and I in advance, we bought plane tickets, rented a car and a hotel with a kitchenette in Fort Lauderdale, that was our scheduled destination. The night before I was at home closing suitcases and the television was on the news, when it was announced that there was a storm in South Florida, they were not very specific about the place, and I told my husband I don't think it was the place to Let's go and so we went to sleep. The next day the television turned on at the scheduled time and of course on the notifier, there they announced that Fort Lauderdale was affected by the storm, and we thought that by the day of the trip everything would be fine now, and so we left for the airport and flew to our first destination Atlanta, there we realized that the disaster was greater and our connecting flight was delayed, we went to eat and I spoke directly to the airport in Fort Lauderdale and they told me that it was not going to be possible to fly there since the airport was flooded, so I told my husband that we had 2 options: stay in Atlanta with my brother or go to another place in Florida. I talked to my brother and he gave us ideas of places we could go and also opened the door of his house for us in case we wanted to stay in Atlanta. We went to change the tickets and that's where they suggested Daytona Beach, which was the closest flight to leave, and we said yes.

We arrived in Daytona at 3pm and our luggage did not arrive with us, because they had not changed it to the other flight and it arrived until 5pm, we had no car, no hotel, no idea what was there in Daytona. So we decided to plan our itinerary there at the airport while our luggage arrived. I rented a car for the next day and the lift to take us to the hotel that my husband had rented. And after that we began to find out about things to visit in Daytona Beach and we saw several interesting things
The Daytona Beach speedway is famous in the world of car racing and has a lot of history, the flea is very large with 1000 vendor stalls, Daytona one an open mall with many attractions, and another closed mall, the famous Daytona beach that It is a beautiful walk along the beach with restaurants and games. It is also the busiest hotel zone. The tour of the old Town is also something classic there, very nice to go for dinner and walk, there are beautiful landscapes.
